InnoGames Game Jam

The popular InnoGames Game Jam enters round six: From June 21 to 23 2013, InnoGames invites industry professionals as well as beginners to the event in its Hamburg based office. Together with you we want to develop computer games in various teams within 48 hours - including graphics, game design and the actual programming. We expect about 70 participants for the Game Jam. In addition to external guests, developers, graphic designers and game designers working at InnoGames will also be participating. Concerning the technical platform, there are little rules. The only requirement is that the software used is freeware, so it is free and freely available. 

Are you interested? Then this could be your chance: To apply, write us a mail to gamejam@innogames.de until June 5 2013, which should contain a brief introduction. tell us who you are, what developing knowledge you have and why you want to join. We will provide lodging in our office) as well as food and beverages for the whole weekend; the required hardware will be brought by you.

Games created within the past InnoGames Game Jams had a huge variety, containing desktop browser games as well as mobile apps. The winners from September 2012, for example, developed the browser-based Jump & Run "Hans and Jamal". The game itself is playable here, a gameplay video can be found on Youtube. The strategy game Frankenstein has been created, among others, at the last Game Jam in January 2013.
