Software Developer Backend Development (m/f)
Your Tasks
As a Software Developer for our backend, you will strengthen our agile development team in order to jointly advance new and further development for our central service systems which stand behind our successful games. In an environment of highly-availability applications, you will ensure their smooth operation through elegant and object-oriented concepts.
- Conception, realization, and further development of backend systems (e.g. for Marketing, Business Intelligence, and CRM)
- Development of webservices for cross-platform data exchange
- Optimization and automation of the existing technical infrastructure
Requirements
- You hold a degree in informatics or business informatics, or you have completed an apprenticeship as IT specialist, or you have comparable experience
- Several years of experience in object-oriented programming in JAVA/PHP and at least one other script or programming language (e.g. Scala, C#, Bash)
- You develop in a test-driven manner and use the advantages of a Continuous Integration Server, like Jenkins
- You enjoy working with very large databases (MySQL, SQL server), and you have basic knowledge of replication
- Ideally, you have already worked with a Kanban-team, and you know your way around the command line of UNIX operating systems
- The ideal candidate will have worked with REST, is interested in distributed systems (e.g. Hadoop), and enjoys sharing a laugh with their colleagues
- Very good knowledge of English completes your profile
